Our Antifoul Approach
Preparation is key to an effective antifouling job that lasts, does the job and looks great.
01.
Schedule
After providing a thorough quote, we schedule the work. On the day, the boat is picked up and taken to the slip and lifted according to the docking plan.
02.
Prepare
A great antifouling job is all about the preparation of the hull. The vessel is high-pressure hosed on haul out after which she is scrapped and sanded to a super smooth finish. Primer is applied either in spots, if there is significant residual antifoul and primer on the hull, or as an entire coat to the hull.
03.
Paint
After the hull prep, 2 Coats of Antifoul are recommended and may involve different micron coats to provide the best result.
The antifoul is allowed to dry and the vessel is returned to the water and taken back to the berth/mooring.
